Got a New to me tractor
#11
Looks like a good deal. If your into tractors, you need to get up with Red's husband Dave. He's got a nice little collection.

I have a friend that wants me to rebuild his 9N. He wants to overhaul the motor and put a clutch in it for now. Shouldn't be too bad of a job.

When I was real young,my granddad had an old ford that looked alot like that.Thats been 38-39 years ago.He also had massey-ferguson model 30 with a gas engine.I think that was the first steering wheel I ever grabbed.
Stupid hurts when it catches up, and it WILL catch up!

Aaron - I'm glad that you reminded me about Dave's tractor interest. I may be calling him once I get these first few problems worked out on it and start on the sheet metal work.

I just bought 4 new tires for it today and have almost as much money in them as I do the whole tractor and bush hog :banghead:

hey Robert and Aaron - just chiming in for David.....nice tractor Robert - let him know if you have any questions....also, if you're serious about the bucket i'll bet our local guy down the road could locate one for you.....tractors are fun....we just got our neighbor boys going on the Allis this past weekend....we're planting a pumpkin patch (about a 1/2 acre) and Dave got on one tractor and the boys took turns on the other discing up the pasture...it was fun watching them because it was their first time driving one by themselves (and also the first year their feet reached the clutch!).......and i hear 'ya about the cost of the tires.....it seems that's what i end up buying david each year for christmas and birthdays!:hysterical:

Robert are you going to have the tires loaded? Tires are not cheap. My uncle is a big tractor man and he had to pay the local tire store payment until he got them payed off. He only deals with Allis chalmers and some Internationals. Need pic of the tractor with it's new shoes on.:toothy12:

I've got a lot of work to do with it this year on the farm but if all goes well I'm going to work on the cosmetic things this winter. I will be in touch with you about the bucket - thank you!

I pick the tires up this morning and will mount them one evening this week hopefully. My tractor money has severely eaten into my bronco budget though so I'm trying to get the tractor up and going as cheap as possible and still have a few dollars left to work on the bronco.
