Just lost my job
#1
I saw the writing on the wall and this morning it happened. The grading company I work for has decided to shut the doors. I have bid, bid, and bid more and can't pick any work up. Other graders are doing work for way less than cost and we're not going down that road.

I'm going to hit up unemployment and see what I can draw there. In the mean time I'm going to try to pick up some side work to make ends meet. On that note, anybody need some bronco fab work - bumper, arms, cage, etc?

dude, I'm sorry to hear that. Be sure to post up on the other forums about your fab work. Might be a way to make some side cash.
If you or Jess need anything just holler.

Thanks every body for your encouragement. I'm going to let the dust settle a few days before I make any decisions - don't want to hit the panic button and regret my moves later on. I'm going out to clean my truck out (including take out my program) and unpack my office personals into the basement.

I know where your coming from. You are not alone by no means. By all means don't freak out and panic. It will be alright. Check in with the ESC and see what they have to offer. You may be surprised at what is offered. And remember now is not the time to bow up with pride. If they offer any seminars go and see what they have to say. I diligently pledged to the United Way and have paid my share of taxes. Now it is time for pay back.
