I'm thinking on it ...
Main street would be nice but parking is iffy.
I'm hanging out with Mill Knob tomorrow night, we'll kick around some ideas.

That's what we need! You guys kick ideas around and we'll see where that goes, also get the ladies involved. They probably have choices that us hairy-legged ole men would never think about!! Don't forget, we'll have kids with us.

By the way, you guys got anything special in mind? You just gonna hang out or are you gonna wrench on something? My wife and I might be coming your way on Sat. for just a short ride, you know a pleasure cruise. I'll keep you posted on that! :xyxthumbs:

Well, you know that I'm in, me and Barbara! We don't have a clue as to what we're going to do but we'll come up with something. Mill Knob have you done any research on this yet? If you need help ask 66stocker, he's near you. If I can do anything from here, let me know!! :xyxthumbs:

Here is the route that me and Bill (66 stocker) come up with more Bill then me... Check it out . Go the map quest and put the locations in and see what you think of the route.

Starting at Pizza Hut in Pisgah Forest. The address is : 7 Pisgah Hwy, 28768

1: Start out going WEST on PISGAH DR. 0.0 mi Map

2: Turn RIGHT to stay on PISGAH DR. 0.2 mi MapAvoid

3: Turn LEFT onto MORRIS RD. 0.4 mi MapAvoid

4: Turn RIGHT onto ASHEVILLE HWY/US-276 N/US-64 E. 0.9 mi MapAvoid

5: Turn LEFT onto US-276/US-64. Continue to follow US-276. 15.0 mi MapAvoid

6: Turn RIGHT onto ramp. 0.2 mi MapAvoid

7: Turn RIGHT onto BLUE RIDGE PKWY. 18.1 mi MapAvoid

8: Turn LEFT to take the NC-191 ramp. 0.2 mi MapAvoid

9: Turn LEFT onto NC-191. 2.2 mi MapAvoid

10: 1000 BREVARD RD. 0.0 mi Map

1000 Brevard Rd
Asheville, NC 28806-2249 Edit

I could not get the map to load up. But the ride would start some location near pizza hut and then we would go from there towards the park way. There is a water fall along the way that we can stop at and take some pic and then head towards the park way and we could stop at the pull offs on the park way and take pic and hang out. The leaves will be changing colors by then so it should be a nice ride. I think this would be a good ride. The ones that are coming from down south could get off at the airport ext and come straight to Brevard. Then once we do the ride and eat over some were near the Biltmore square mall the ones that live down south can jump on Interstate 26 and go home. You might have to move the route to make it go the way I am showing to go. Give some feed back. If yall like this route then I will let yall know what kind of places there is to eat. :popc1:

Why not start in Hendersonville instead of Brevard? Or maybe, start at Exit 2 on I-26 and run the route backwards ending up in Hendersonville. That would be easier on the guys from the Charlotte area. We don't need to start a poll on this but these are just suggestions to consider. What do you guys think? Either way you guys have picked out a good route, thanks!! :xyxthumbs:
