arrived at the hospital around 6am today. docs said that nothing has spread and he was healthy and ready to go under. so about 9am they took him under and began surgery. so far everything is going well. dr said he should be finished around 4-4:30 this afternoon. should be a good easy outcome but he has to do radiation everyday for 6 weeks in a row. i'll post up again tonight after he wakes up. thanks everyone for the support.

That is good to hear. He has a long road ahead, but it is not impossible. I will keep the prayers coming.

Thanks for the update Mike. Radiation every day is going to be tough but will be worth it in the long run. Keep you head high and know that we are thinking of you and praying for ya'll.

just got home from the hospital. i wanted to stay but his girlfriend seems to keep getting in the way. its cool though cause im glad he has someone that cares that much about him. anyways, dad is doing well. lots of swelling and he is in pain. he has stitches and staples all around his ear and down his neck to the collar bone. they cut out all the tumors and some of his lymph nodes.(guess i spelled that right) lol. hopefully he can come home by friday.
