i started by getting the sink wall prepped so i could build the cabnet but i got it all prepped and i dont have the 1/4" for the wall so... i cut out the h2o inlet

then i decided to tear out the shower surround. the wall was mushy and i want to put stringers in it for the diamond plate. this was the only area i didnt know was wet. im pretty sure it is coming from the broken skylight

i then did some on the slider and moved it to the other side of the camper so i can put stringers in it..

did a little test fitting and marking of the diamond plate today. im used to working alone so i made some "feet" for the DP to sit on while i marked it. im going to dry fit and attach everything then pull it off and caulk behind it and in all the screw holes etc..ill probably get these three pieces ready before i try to fit more. I leaving a little gap at the joints for expansion. i am concerned with holding a straight line at the top. there are areas where the diamond plate is 5/8 off from the bottom but i couldnt justify cutting it all that out of square. It doesnt really matter if it covers it all. i am sealing the bottom corner then using a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 angle to cap the bottom and corners.this will cover and seal everything.

went to Johns this morning and cut out what i had marked. came home and mocked it up. lookin good. I cut out one passthru door and layed out the last piece for this side. I started laying out for the other side and am headed back to the shop in a few hrs to cut those. Im not ready to attach it yet. I still have some sealing and stuff to do. I am going to go ahead and pre drill all the holes etc untill i get some more money this weekend so i can get caulking and putty tape and stainless screws.
