here are the last pics of the I6! tomorrow is d-day. pulled bumper and radiator few min ago. Im so ready to drop the newish power plant in. trading retired hamsters for rats on roids!

got tranny and tcase on ground yesterday evening. now im gonna pull bronco out of the building and get some of the mud and gunk that is underneath. after that im ready to cut old mounts off. thanks chuck! u the man

6cyl frame mounts off. wish i would have had a torch..side grinder and bfh whooped me..and it being 90 + degrees outside doesnt help..lol just a little bit of cleanup on frame and ill be ready to weld new mounts in.:bangheadConfusedtarted cleaning up frame with grinder and cut finger. all this work and not a scratch. now i gotta find grinder i think it flew south for winter

so last night i welded in the v8 frame towers. its all downhill now. gonna drop the engine in do radiator mounts tranny and t case back in and she will be ready to go again! :beer:

update: got my electric fan and controller in yesterday. engine mounts are painted, i am gonna go ahead and put in new clutch and then i will be ready to drop in engine and then on to radiator mounts...fired engine up again its ready..starts with just a bump of the push button starter i wired up! i have all next week off work so that will be as good of time as any! stoked :mug::gunshot:

i was wanting to do this as build thread. but i didnt take enough pics. but i do know what it took to get everything out or back in

ok for the radiator mounts...i bought the hangers from toms. i got the measurements for them but the 6 cyl radiator bolted to the core support i guess it was a factory thing do these have to be cut out for the v8 radiator? can anyone shoot me a pic of theirs? i would appreciate it.
