the 77's upgrades
Thats a tough one, the clutch disks have 5 ears. Not 4 like the trac loc. Even the Eaton has a spring on the spider gears.
Can you take it the rest of the way apart so we can see all the parts involved? Things like how many clutch disks and the cross pin type will help id it.

HELLWIG FRONT SWAY BAR!!!!

sway bar came in yesterday8-)

after checking everything out..i quickly realized the BC Bronco steering was gonna be the issue. The chevy TRO doesnt seem that hard to deal with...but the BCB heim TRO steering puts that drag link saddle right in the way of the pass side link bracket. we had to move the brackets backwards toward the rear 1". I drilled another hole on each bracket, also trimmed 1.250 of the back side of the bracket so it wouldn't extend pass the coil buckets when mounted. I also had to trim a good bit off the bracket right where the end link connects. im posting pics for others to see.

as for the sway bar mounts...that proved to be an issue also. Since I have a Warn bumper...the frame mounts wrap under and toward the inside of the front frame horns. This means I didnt have the access to the frame...due to the bumper brackets not completely sitting flush to the bottom side of the frame. So I decided to drill and tap the bumper brackets for the sway bar bushings. This should be as strong...if not stronger.

as we fitted the bar and links(instructions say to move sway bar to dr side as much as possible)... after doing this the end link on dr side was at a bad enough angle-made it hard to remove disconnect. so I flipped the lower stud to the outside...so the endlink would be straighter...i think i will go back and address this some more. Im gonna move sway bar back toward pass some more so these links are straighter.
this is how the links look right now...

all in all...it took a good 4 hrs(including all the mods). the system seems to be controlling all the issues the front of my bronco had. took it for a quick test ride last night...then hit the bed at midnight. drove it to work this morning and I can tell a difference!

maybe I'll do some launches later and really test it out lol;D

One flew into the garage and went all Kamikaze square in my face at full speed. I screamed like a little *****. Hey, let's face it, I am good looking guy; can't have a monster bug ruining my grille.

Anyway, on the sway bar test drive, I felt something crawling around on me. Chuck turns on the interior light and a damn Cicada is just chillin on my inner thigh! I was less than happy about that so I picked the little mofo up and tossed his fat ass out the door. Chuck got a good laugh at my expense!

Friggin bugs!
