wondering if you could make one of those for a fully assembled truck, it would make working on the underside real easy.

Chuz, man I have tried but I think it's this iOS on my iPad. I try to add multiple pics but it only uploads the very last pic. And even then it may come out sideways so its a crap shoot. Now with my laptop PC I can download lots of pics at once.

I have a spare untitled frame I plan to use. My plan is to remove all the unwanted items (such as engine mounts, shock mounts, etc.) that I don't need. All I need is the body mounts and hope the frame is straight. In the pic you will notice a 16" bodylift, those were welded to the frame if I remember. I won't go 16" but may go 10". As long as you have enuff room to get tools in there if need be. If you are good at fabricating and welding the rest should be simple to design. I like the whole engine dolly on both sides. The wooden rotisserie has its pluses, but as Chuzie mentioned it may flex if not braced very well and use non treated lumber.

I'm really impressed. Seems you have this body process figured out quite well. I wouldn't even know where to start dude. If I EVER get around to doing this stuff, you WILL be my first phone call. Well done!

I can't take credit for those rotisseries. I've saved those pics over the years. Got all those off of Classic Broncos.

You just gave me some new ideas for the rotisserie by using heavy duty engine stands for each end then use the extra frame I have. Although I would need stands that spun and that might just equal what I can get this rotisserie for. He is asking 800 atm what do you all think it is a 4k lb rotisserie with steel wheels and from what he has told me, I will look closer next time I go for a load of parts. Is that you can roll it up to a car or frame at any level then jack it up to the level you want then lock it in place.

I have seen those use engine stands but I would widen the legs so that it won't tip over if you are wanting to turn it. It really depends on your ability to fabricate. If you can cut and weld then modifying engine stands is cake, but not everyone has the resources to do so.
I like the plywood-wheel rotisserie mated to a spare frame. Its simple, uses 6-8 sheets of 3/4"-1" plywood. 2x4s should slide in the frame horns and should go in pretty far, that's what I use to move my frame around the yard with help. If I did this option I would probably over build it to make sure it doesn't fall apart. I dunno yet, got a lot of time to figure it all out. $800 seems a lil high considering it may have less than $300 in materials. You would be surprised what kind go good metal you can buy at a metal recycling facility. You can cheap but great wheels from HF. So really you can use the extra money in buying a welder if you don't already have one.
Regardless, I will be using my spare frame. Metal or wood will be attached to it somehow!
