what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today?
It's a lost art. Everyone replaces instead of repairs.

I just read back to the $40 repair, too. Got a shop local with a great reputation.

If the bars leaks doesn't do it, i may take you up on that.

What Biff said...

I did some rustoration work on the Bronco for my wife.

Also got the pickup cap put on the F250 in prep for 'camping' at URE. I'm getting soft in my old age. Gotta scrub the heck out of that thing though. It's been sitting for a year and will come back off after the Nov run.

Bars Leaks seems to have stopped the leaking but the real test will be URE.

Tightened my loose body mount bolts since I was creaking in the turns.

Ordered led bulbs for my 5 AutoMeter gauges and column light. Super cheap from https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo...-base/199/ as compared to the LED bulb offered by AutoMeter.

Bars leak? Did you take it to a radiator shop?

No Bronco wrenching here. Had to do a bunch of work my wife's car and the tow pig. Gotta keep 2 running in our fleet of crap.

Bars Leaks is a liquid coolant additive used to stop/prevent leaks. It cured what a radiator shop couldn't even after TIG welding and epoxy. Some auto mfgs use it off the line. I'm impressed.

This is not the hardening epoxy variant that clogs everything. It is simply aluminum dust in liquid suspension. Heater works fine. No changes.

I'm familiar with it enough to not use it on anything. Sound like the stuff you got might be better than the black rabbit turd kind. Used to use it on 'woods cars' as needed back in the day. The days of finding a $50 or $100 running beater are gone. Sad
