So have you all broken anything yet, or are both of you broken down and down for the weekend?

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

You need a Bronco first! Or, just leave it up there and commute via airplane!

The pics are on FB. I'm not gonna upload them twice. Clay took more pics than I did. Frankly, I was so busy enjoying the trails I didn't take many. Anyway, we accumulated about 120 miles on the trails in 3 days and it was awesome. There was a bunch to see and I think we were able to see 90% of the park that was worth seeing. The rain made the difficult trails extreme but we prevailed undamaged nonetheless. Clay and I both agreed to pull line after 2 attempts unless a third attempt was approved by the observer. We stuck to it for the most part and had a great time. I can't wait to go back. The huge selection of trails and massive acreage makes this place a goldmine especially considering how little opposing traffic we experienced even on Saturday. URE doesn't hold a candle to Windrock, not even close. Harlan is on my list now for sure!
I did have a front wheel bearing catastrophically fail on the interstate on the way home and it destroyed my spindle and hub assembly. I ended up leaving the Bronco behind because my boy had to get to school the next morning. We flew home and I flew back up a few days later and fixed it up no problem then drove her back home to Tampa. Those who didn't come missed out big time. I foresee many more trips to Windrock in the future although my days of driving the Bronco all the way from Tampa are numbered. 11 hours sitting in that beast is a task and it is getting old.

You know Chuzie I am only a few hours from there and your welcome to leave it here although Clay's might be easier since airport is closer. I am inching closer to getting mine on the road just got axles for front and rear in the mail today, next is gears and brakes.

Thanks William but I don't want to deprive the kids and all the single ladies in Florida the opportunity to enjoy the Bronco just because I am tired of the long drive. Looking at towing solutions at this point. Hope you get your rig running soon.

Well you could always build a mall crawler and make your current one extreme off road or wait a couple years and get the new Bronco to tow the old one lol. Looking for 4.88 gears now for mine then brakes, and will have a 24x30 shop before the summer is over to work on it in.
