how to pump it up
#21
I like the idea of a CB4X4 store, the paid members admin section but I think until we get some funds generated the car/truck show will have to go on hold, due to the costs involved (insurance, fliers, tickets, etc.) As far as tech articles I am sure we all have done something different or unique or both to our rigs just write a paragraph or two maybe snap some pics and post it up can call it good if someone has questions on it they can PM you. I my self will try to come up with something.

Maybe hold it at a local Ford dealership with their permission and participation and try to get a local radio station to pick it up to get the word out. It would be mostly Fords there, but then again I've put the Bronco in a show at a Chevy dealership before :rebel:

I see. That is a good idea then. We just need some $$$ first. I am down for a ford show.

we are converting from a 50" wide newspaper to a 46" wide. Requires a A** of machining,drilling,tapping....basically measure with a micrometer, mark it with a crayon, cut it with an ax!!!! We just found out today the $120K we spent last Nov in preparation for 46" wont work now...back to the drawing board:banghead::banghead::drinkbud:

Hey, I'm here...just absorbing what everyone has on their mind....

I'm not sure how to put much in place but...

I like the idea of a store...

and a show of some sort whenever we feel we have the time, $ and resources..

I would also like to see if someone could set up the CB 4x4 logo as business cards on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet that we could print out as we need them...just the logo and website would be great then we could write our name on the back if we wanted to....

I meet new people with broncos on an average 2-3 times a week and pass on the website and promote any upcoming events (sometimes on napkins)...people like things to plug into....word of mouth is still a great way to promote the club....I just keep a running list of people I meet and when something comes up I give them a call....

Not really sure where I'm going with any of this but whatever I can do to help I will.....we'll look back one day when the club is sooo big and laugh that we were even having to come up with ideas!!!

that's all I can think of for now

I like Rhondas idea about the business cards! It would be an easy way if you met somebody. You could be like......Hey, here's a card with the name of our club and our website, log on and come check us out!

Gee chuck, sorry to hear you are having to work so hard. Gotta love precision work though.

I bet the guy that blew the 46K is going to get a promotion, right?

I like the idea of a card. Think I will play with it this weekend if I get a chance.

Chuck already had some cards made up a while back but they have the old site on them. I got some and passed them out to anyone I saw that had a Bronco. Chuck do you still have them?
