You all are welcome to have the cookout at my site (29)
As it stands now only a buddy and me will be there so there will be plenty of room.
A couple of things I'm thinking....
If anyone has a rig that doesn't have a liscense plate, we'd be better off to meet at the trailhead or campground. The cops will catch you if you're on the blacktop(ie meeting at el dorado outpost)
Make sure you all have your trail passes BEFORE we head out to the trail. The rangers on occasion will be on the trail checking. I have a season pass as I've been to unf 7 times this year, but this time of year they may be sold out and daily passes will be the only option
If we have more than 9 or 10 rigs we'd be better off breaking up in two seperate groups to avoid the long waits. Remember other folks will be wheeling to.
Trucks with 31 in tires can do all of the trails at UNF. There are bypasses at kodak, a easy way up daniel and an easyier trail up dickey bell at the hill climb. The only issue I've seen at unf is the last ledge before you get to kodak on stock vehicles will sometimes hi center, but a little tug will solve this. The best way to handle this obstacle is to hug the wall on the right as tight as you can, then as you clear start a cut to the left.
Remember this is a national forrest so no booze on the trails and do carry at least a fire extiquisher a tow strap and a spare tire or a way to fix a flat.
