We (including all clubs) had a great turnout - 40 volunteers! Everyone else had trail cleanup duties, but CB4x4 had some real work to do. Installed 50' of guardrail, professionally dragged into place from the trailhead by non other than our recovery man - BroncoMatt! We all took turns digging, picking, and manning the Auger. Was that auger worn out or what?!! Digging in a rocky mountain is FUN! (note sarcasm here). Doubled up the guardrail (approx 30' long total), and dug three holes for the i-beam posts. BlazinChuck and I winched in a few fallen trees to help block off the area that horses and 4wheelers have created...
Headed back out, fixing a corduroy crossing and cleaning up (you're a bigger man than I am, Chuzie) on the way out... No big breaks, or any injuries. It was a good day! (Matt, thanks for the hammer & add 3/4" fine thread nuts to your bag-o-tricks)...
A big Thank You to Chuck, Chuzie, Matt, Gumby, Brian, Asiel, Erica, and Clay for all the hard work! I know Brian has some pics, not sure if anyone else got some in... My Photographer was at the zoo.
