That's oil smoke. Not a head gasket. I'm with the incline/valve guide theory. As a former Army Armor officer I've poured a ton of diesel on exhaust manifolds to generate smoke for cover. Kind of fun, actually. Big billowy clouds of smoke. Bad guide at the back of the motor. Don't let that get too bad. The valve could tip, contact the piston, snap off and grenade a motor. Ask me how I know.....
