I've been through a few sets of them over 200K miles, some abuse, and 37" tires. Things I do that seem to make them live longer are adding grease through the ABS port and greasing the inside needle bearing.
Tousley Ford is a good place to order parts. I typically call them and get things out the same morning. The discount is pretty darn good when you mention online forums pointed you to them.
