Thanks for all of the compliments on the orange BIG COUNTRY! I was stoked to be able to bring it and the past week was a rush to get it able to roll on the trailer under its own power. I wish Keith (744x4) could have been there with it as he was more than half of the labor getting it to where it is.
This was my fifth year at the event. Does anybody remember the first year ... about 100* and no shade. I left the event last year with inspiration to get back to work on the crawler and I'm glad I did. Next year it'll have exhaust, gears, lockers, and hopefully a few battle scars with stories.
Good to see everyone there. I met some new faces and saw others that I only see a couple times a year.
