Death wobble is (usually) caused by worn bushings in the track bar or related hardware. Right now I am working on a 74. The lower bolt (the one with the 1-1/8" castle nut on it) was loose. From the factory it is welded to the axle housing. That weld had broken and the bolt had a lot of movement to it. I discovered it while taking the track bar off to replace bushings in it. Check the upper mount as well for any movement or broken welds.
thanks!!
definitely going to check the track bar, bushings, and bolts
pretty sure the track bar and bushings are fairly new though
funny how this happened after new front discs and a little more air in the tires
looks like the radius arms are shot
i guess im lucky that we were already looking at the front end for the regearing
