I have used dynabeads, airsoft, weights, etc. Although BBs work just like Dynabeads, I always avoided them because they susceptible to corrosion and are abrasive to the wheel and tire. My ideal scenario would be to balance the tire with low profile sticky strip weights on the inside of the rim and use beads as a fine tuning weight maintainer as the tire wears. There are stories out there of folks who have experienced severe vibration when using beads. This is likely due to a frequency or flutter phenomenon though very rare. Also, some have reported difficulty turning at high speeds due to inertial complications. I still run beads nontheless.
