OK. I have a 77' Uncut EB. It has a new 2 1/2" Lift with new Springs and Coils. I have 15" Rims with the Original Hubcaps. This is fine for in town and the usual Meet-N-Greet, but I want to put a set of more "agressive" tires and wheels on it that I can take in the sand/trail.
Keep in mind, cutting the fenders is not an option.
I'm looking at purchasing 31x12.50x15 All Terrain Tires (Pep Boys has a buy three get one FREE thing going on...) but I'm not sure if they will have enough clearance width wise from the fenders.
Anyone ever had the same problem? Please let me know what size tires have worked for you. Thanx

FWIW- Before I cut my fenders I had 35x12.50 with a 5.5" suspension and 3" body. It was not too bad unless I really jammed them in there.

i saw one at tellico a few yrs ago at meb fall crawl that had 5.5 inch lift running 35 10.50
those tucked up nicely in the fenders. they was mounted on stock rims and hubcaps.. it performed really well on trails though with no sheetmetal damage!
If you can't fix it with a hammer and a welder then your gonna need a new one!

runnin 33x10.50 on my uncut with 3.5" lift on the stock wheels. they tuck up nice inside the wheel wells...i'm thinkin if you go to a 12 inch wide tire and a 2.5" lift you are gonna get some rubber in the sheet metal.
