New Ruger added to the collection

I acquired this nice little Ruger to my collection the other afternoon. I've always wanted a single action "cowboy" gun and ran across a deal I couldn't refuse. This is a little Ruger Single Six convertible. It is stainless steel with both a 22LR and a 22WM cylinders. I'm going to ditch the big rubber grip in favor of a set of staghorn or ivory grips. Maybe one day I can find a deal on a western style holster and belt.

Very nice gun! I've got an OLD cowboy 45 that was willed to me - it has the pearl grip and all. Do you plan on taking this to the range?

C&E gun show is going to be in Winston Salem Jan. 31-Feb. 1. May have to ride up there and check it out.

I'm hoping to get up to the Uwharrie range week after next. I'd like to dig a few other pieces out of the safe and shake the dust off them too.

That Benelli just looks like a tack driver. I like to plink with my little Ruger 22/45. I've got the cheap BSA red dot sight on it now, but would like to upgrade it one day to a halo or 2x scope.

Never been too big of DE fan. My hands aren't large enough for the grips:hysterical:


Mike, that is a nice 40. I picked up a Glock 26 back at Christmas from a guy at work. It makes a good pocket rocket.
