Hey Bucket- what kind of $$ do you have in your bender set up (if you don't mind me askin). I have the HF "tube kinker" that everyone bashes, but for the minimal cost and using some cat litter to fill my pipe, I built some 'ok' bumpers for my 71.

But I don't think bending up a roll bar would be worth the effort or even possible with the HF tube kinker.......lol

I bought the Pro105 bender, 240* 1 3/4" die, and hole saw notcher from a guy off NC4x4 for $400. It was new, never used. I then used scrap pipe to build the cart. The ram was around $100 with the warranty, that by the way just paid for itself.
A good quality bending machine and die set are well worth the money. Also worth the investment is the BendTech Pro software. It removes a lot of the human error.
