how much can a bronco pull

the 240 massey ferguson is what we are working with and good thing is i have to junk fullsize in the back yard so if i try i have 2 pairs of leaf springs and 2 rearends to pick from lol and a younger brother i can make my work slave to help do the fixing upergrin:

300 bucks to go 200ft...:rubeyes: Nothing against yer bronco, but if you've got a tractor there that'll pull it, all ya need is a good set of weights to hang on the front of the tractor and you should be good to go.

I don't doubt that the bronco will put it if it can get traction. The tricky part with any big load is stopping it.

Put weights on the front of the tractor, or better yet, put weight in the back of the mobile home... you could put anything in it just to help balance it a bit.

If you wanted you could use a tow strap on the front of your tractor, and attached to your bronco, to help keep the front of it down. Just use the stretchyness of the tow strap to keep pressure on the tractor and to keep the front from lifting.

I'd go about it one of those 2 ways, or maybe a combination of both! :xyxthumbs:

Like said earlier, pull it across the yard, yes.
Pull it down the highway, no way would I try.

Seeing as you are only pulling it 200 feet, I would do it.

As far as $300 to have a professional move it, I don't think that is too far out of line. He has to drive a rig to your location, take the time to hook it properly, allow time for the unexpected, take responsibility for damages if they are his fault, pay insurance, drive the rig back and make enough money to pay for that rig and still feed his family. Depending on where he is located vs you, he could easily have $50 in fuel cost alone not counting other expenses and could easily spend a good portion of the day out there. Sure, $300 is a lot of money but by the time you figure in all the expenses, he might walk with $150-$200.

well my brother got a guy to move it with a bulldozer for 100 bucks which worked out till he put the bucket in the side of the trailer puting a football size hole in it. then i had a couson who thought his frontier could out pull my bronco so we had a show down in the yard didnt get pic but now all he can say is cuz i have 31 and he has 30 in tires is why i was out pullin him white people sometimes lol.
