This is about the last project on this I am going to do before I leave for the road trip. I was having an insufficient AC flow to the front of the TT (the bedroom, where all the heat is!) I decided to put in 4 extra dampened vents and put dampened vents in the existing holes also. 1 more to go. Air, like water will take the path of least resistance so I am hoping for the extra vents will help. It is a 1.5 ton unit basically (13.5btu) so being forced into a 1.5x7 duct with only 4 outlets was probably under flow. Granted it also has vents in the actual unit overhead but you can close those off for more flow to the duct work. we will see i guess.
I also wiped down all the ceilings and walls. I am actually still working on that and the last vent now. The under bed area is about packed. I am starting to do the anti skid material in all the drawers and cabinets in the living/kitchen area. I washed it yesterday too for the first time. They get nasty on the outside quick. I didnt notice any ill effects on the diamond plate. I just used a mild dish soap and a soft extend-able arm brush
