my grandparents had TWC they hated it. Picture would still go on it sometimes, i have directv, never had any problems. And at my house it takes a big big storm to knock the picture out.

I had Dish network for 10 years and could always tell if it was raining somewhere the direction my dish was pointing because I would loose signal. Switched over to direct about 2 months ago and haven't had any problems yet. As far as cable, I am so far out in BFE we can't get cable out here
