I heard I caused a ruckus with people wanting to know who bought Mike's '70, so I figured I'd pop on a bit and say hi! My name is Daniel, and I work at NCSU. I've known John (bound4dixie) for years, and he's finally convinced me to jump into the Bronco world. I've been wanting something for a while I can tinker with and take out camping and stuff, and finally had the means to make that happen.
There was some questions about whether I'd have it at the upcoming cruise - probably not. I won't be picking it up until Oct 2nd. I'll have to get insurance and tags all worked out, and it needs new rear brake lines. I don't see that happening before Saturday. On top of that, I need to learn how to properly drive stick shift
, so a multi-hour drive from Raleigh may not be the best place to learn hahaha. I'll be riding along with bound4dixie in his '91, so you'll all get to meet me.
