If you need help, just ask...
#1
and I'll be there (along with many members here, I'm sure)... I just read a thread on another site that just infuriates me... Someone was stuck, posted for help, and rather than helping, they bickered for SEVEN pages and 1 week before a moderator closed the thread (thankfully, or it'd still be going) about why we should or shouldn't help them because they were stuck on Power Lines... I'm not posting the site, nor the thread... There's at least one cb4x4 member that was a part of the "discussion" and I'm not here to flame anyone, nor continue the thread.

I just want to say that if anyone here needs help (stuck, hungry, tired, drank too much to drive, WHATEVER), please call, PM, email me or post up here.... I will be there to help, or find someone who can, if I can. :xyxthumbs:

Good gracious!! :banghead:

(P.S. He was recovered but it wasn't me because I didn't read the thread until tonight... Sad )

damn that sucks! thats the kind of person i try to be(helpfull) i have found myself being more reserve however, after offering everything i have or can, only to be taken advantage of. thats the whole reason we have a "who's who" so we(cb4x4) can be there to help. thanks for pointing that out Jayt. maybe that person should get an invite to join over here eh?

"One time at band camp" :hysterical: my neighbor got stuck at his hunt club and at the time I had no rear cuz of a blown mini spool but I drove 14 miles one way in front wheel drive to pull him out ... Confusedmokin: I would help anyone anywhere anytime if I can ... just can't understand some people ... :banghead:

How's the saying go? A friend will be there to bail you out of jail, but a best friend will be in jail with you?:drinkbud:

I think I know of the other 4x4 site that JayT refers to and I find there to be a bunch of 2 centers over there. They have a lot of opinions and no solutions.
I lost a 44 bogger coming home from the mud race two weeks ago. The tire turned up on Craigslist for sale. I posted up for some help on this site and most of the comments were telling me how lucky I was that the tire did not kill someone. Pissed me off

I did get the tire back but had to pay ransom.

I read that thread too (yes, that's the site I was referring to and you're right on with your description)... between the two threads, I got a little hot. Glad you got your tire back... the ransom thing still bothers me, but at least you got it back "cheaper" than a new setup would've cost. Good luck this weekend!

I am always here to help, many times I have gotten the call (or knock on the door) too pull some one out. Several times I have broken my rig just trying to get to them or in the process of pulling them out. Thats just life, I have been stuck many times, and had to walk and find someone to pull me out. I usually try an offer something for thanks (usually beer) but more times than not we will just say "return the favor".
It doesnt realy matter where someone is when they get stuck, there stuck, what does it matter what line they crossed on some map. Just get them out and hope you both dont get caught.
Just my 2c,
Carl, very sorry to here that happend, that sucks.
