Help- Electrical & Art Carr Shifter

Info: 1974, V8, auto c4

Help! I'm in the process of installing a Art Carr floor shifter. I need to install the neutral / park safety switch and can't find the electrical connection information. Does anyone know how? I also have a plug and no apparent connection. The wires are light purple/light purple? Any Suggestions? Where is the best place to find electrical Wiring diagrams?

All it does is prevent you from starting the ignition when you are not in park or neutral. It is safer, but do you NEED it - not really.

That I don't know - I installed mine during my auto conversion so I never had an auto column to start with. I imagine that you would have to connect the old NSF wires so they are permanently "off".

When the plug is not there it doesnt care either way.Mine still dangles under the floorboard not connected to anything 21 yrs after I got it in 88
