Well, I have to plan around my wife's surgery, a trip to Myrtle Beach, and my son's wedding. The March meet & greet is coming up also. A lot going on in my life but I can plan something for everybody else to enjoy, I just need input from others. :xyxthumbs:

has a date for the march meet been set yet? its right around the corner and its been hard gettin people to show to the charlotte meet n greet mabee we should wait till after the big meet? Eric you coming to the big meet?

We're hoping to get the Meet n Greet in to the 1st weeks of April this time (because of the issues with the weather in the past) Matt's handling that with Dennis Carpenters....I have names of several new people i've met over the past few weeks around concord......

We could still get together in feb or March (buffalo wild wings) but, with other commitments, I need to stay local (concord)....i feel pretty cetain that i could get at least 5 new people to something local.

It would be good to get thogether before then just to talk things up and encourage people to become a member.....

Ill try to make the march one too oops i mean april? wheelindixie is having our 2 year birthday party/ride down here the 20th of march i think it is. ill put up some info when we get it nailed down.

How bout Hillbilly's off exit 23 on 85? It is the best bbq place outside of Lexington around here (IMHO)... It wouldn't get any street traffic though, for those that want to show their stuff off.

Where do you live, Bart? You've got to be close to know about Hillbillys! You are right about the lack of traffic but maybe we could park down next to the road. There is a lot of local traffic between Lowell and McAdenville. For those of you that care, I don't think they serve "adult" beverages. It'd be fine with me, what does everyone else think? :xyxthumbs:

I live in Mint Hill. I used to live in the Kings Mtn area (at the state park, right across from the Bears Den on 161). we could meet there, but i'd be afraid to go in the place... I forget how I first heard of Hillbilly's. Probably another student back in the days of UNCC, as it has been a lonnng time since I first went to eat there.
