the next charlotte area meet?
#21
Quote:I live in Mint Hill. I used to live in the Kings Mtn area (at the state park, right across from the Bears Den on 161). we could meet there, but i'd be afraid to go in the place... I forget how I first heard of Hillbilly's. Probably another student back in the days of UNCC, as it has been a lonnng time since I first went to eat there.

When were u at UNCC?

Sounds fine to meet there - i like new places:popc1:..... but.... I'm going to throw this out to everyone.....I would like to start meeting once / month in Concord on a set day like Charleston & Raleigh......there are a lot of Broncos in the Concord area and in order for people in the beginning to start coming and sign up and check out the forum we need to keep it local - I've got 10 + people that i keep on a phone list and call for these things which isn't the way it should work - need y'alls help to talk up the website!....then we could do additional meet n greets at various locations on the weekends.....i'm commited to keep things rolling!!

OK I got it out there - thoughts?

I think we can do more meets in different places on the weekends for sure, Clint, ......i think we could really grow here in Concord by doing something monthly, too......then, once we get a strong group here it'll be a better showing out of town......

.......again, just my thoughts....not trying to single out Concord but the Broncos are every where that i look around here.....i have so many contacts but nothing to take them to......

i'll stop whining now:roll::biggthumpup: hope you're doing well after your surgery

You're not whining!! My knee is doing great. my doctor has released me and I have only four more sessions of rehap. Getting ready for summer!!! I agree on doing something in or around Concord Mills area. The exposure would be great and everybody is familiar with that area. :xyxthumbs:
