well yesterday was the day ive been waitin for for a year now, and the reason I didnt get to go to URE but it turned out well my buddy who has never really been deer hunting (he went on a deer drive once but was not allowed to carry a gun) shot his first deer on the property that I hunt. Now he is hooked and cant wait to go again. The funny thing is the nite before we was talking about which we like better hunting or fishing and he said fishing lets just say he now has changed his mind. No pics im sure yall know what a doe looks like plus I was tired and just wanted to skin and quarter it hit the shower and go to bed :drinkbud:

good job. i shot an 8 pointer, weighed right at 200 lbs.

Im still waiting to get a shot at a buck I saw a nice wide 6 point last year right under my stand but I was there only to fill up my feeder wondering if he made it to this year. Nice goin on your buck is that your son with you? do you take him with you? I took my then 5 year old son last year but he couldnt stay still in the stand
