would the 4.30s be good on something doin all that travelin? Just wondering if it would hurt the highway mpg that much

actually they say 4.30's is the way to go towing. at 70 im at 18-2000 and the truck searches for gear even at a small grade. if im going faster and get it to 22-2300 rpm i dont have as much of an issue. they say the 4.30's will net about the same mpg towing as 373 because it isnt searching and running in 3rd all thie time. it is really expensive, i probably wont do it because it is expensive

I like the grille. The 4.30's would be interesting.
Stupid hurts when it catches up, and it WILL catch up!

they came with them from the factory as a tow option. i really should go 4.56's. i am unsure and dont feel comfortable with setting them up myself. well, john and i. setting up gears on a trail rig is one thing but something im going to tow with and put thousands of miles on makes me nervous.
