I found a '66 EB today. The guy wants $8000 for it but I don't know anything about these units. It has a 170 CID, 3 on the tree and (get this) a fresh John Deere paint job, yes that's right John Deere. Green bottom and a yellow top with the little deers on the side instead of Broncos. This things has a windsheild that folds down forward like an old Heep. This guy thinks that is something special, is he right? Is this a rare option? He also says it came from the factory without a top, which I seriously doubt. Is this thing worth what he is asking, a little rust- not much. What'cha think? :?: :?:

The folding windshield is standard on all Bronco's '66-77. Though there was a rare roadster option available through '68, I believe. These came from the factory with no top or doors. They had an insert that covered the door jambs. Do you happen to have any pics of it? Is it local?

I think he had it posted on classic broncos acouple of weeks ago with some pics. I stoped and looked at it two different times but couldn't catch the guy at home. Your more than welcome to come by and look at mine if you want something to compare it to. Cell 704-616-2156.
I'm more in to Farmall RED but that John Deere Green is an eye catcher.

It is located on the Dallas-Cherryville Highway (hwy.279) about two miles out of Dallas. I told my wife after I left that I wish I had taken some pics. She said I could've, she had my digital camera in her purse. If I go by there in the next couple of days, I'll get some pictures. I saw some neoprene bushings but I don't know what I was looking at. The guy there, he doesn't own it, said there was some custom parts on it. Looked like a 4" lift to me.
