Hey everyone - Liz is at Baptist Hospital in Winston - Salem.......I plan on going up on thursday to see her and chuck and I agree that flowers / plant would be nice to take to her from the club........consider it done.

surgery on her arm was today and her lung is slowly healing

keep sending thoughts and prayers and to all that are helping with the donation we know that matt and liz are very grateful for everything

Hey everyone - got up to Baptist to see Liz today (actually got to see Matt too)
Just to echo Chuck......yep, the collar bone is pretty messed up but the lung seems to be doing good and it does look like she'll get to go home Friday.....it's going to be a slow recovery on the arm so any help they can get over the next few months i know they'll appreciate. She was in good spirits but slow with any movements.

I took a plant up from all of us at CB4x4 and she wanted me to tell everyone how much she appreciated it (here's a pic of what she received).

First off I want to thank all of you for your support.
Liz is home and resting. Her left humorus was shattered just below the shoulder. The doc put a large plate in, which will hold the bone in place untill it can grow back together. Six weeks in the sling, several mounths of PT. Her lung is ok, it was a minor colaps of the right lung.
I cant express how happy I am to have her home safe. The car rolled multiple times( at least 3), its a total loss.
Right now I have some famley staying with us so I can go back to work, the next step is to figure out what to do with our trucks. I need to put an engine(which I dont have yet) in the ranger to make it a reliable driver. The full size is not too far from being ready for paint. I may need some help one or two weekends to put it back together once its painted.
Need something that is an auto for liz to drive once she is back to work.
I may not be around much for a while, right now she needs help doing most things (its amazing what you cant do with only one arm).
Overall its going to be a long recovery process, once again thanks for all the support and well wishes. She did want me to tell you all she loved the flowers.
Thanks
Matt and Liz.
