In Liz's defence, the last animal she hit was an 800lb Moose! Plus its realy my fault, I have been rescuing turtles in the road and relocating them to our back yard.
As for my rig, there are too many storys too tell. From the busted knuckle tour where I blew the rear end, exploded the RF knuckle off and drove out on just the left front.
Too whipporewill where I broke the track bar mount and bent the front rims in what had been a puddle last year.
Good luck everybody!

Well... The story goes like this...
I went up to visit my Tag Team Broncos boys a few winters ago... Those of you who know them, or their reputation, probably know how this might end...
Went to our usual spots with Vaughn's (vern69) 79F150 "aka Jolly", a couple EBs, and another F150. Having a bunch of carb trouble with Jolly, so headed back to the shop. Went back out late night/early AM, and didn't have much luck... Parked the rigs, and piled 6 of us into a VERY nice EB.
Going the back way to our usual spot... Crossed through a river (only rockers deep, but did I mention that this was winter time?).... and headed up the "mountain" on the other side... Got to the top, hit the brakes... pop goes the frozen brake line right at the Master Cylinder... Let the clutch out to stop from rolling back down the hill... no traction. So there we were, sliding down hill, backwards, towards the nice chilly river... "Thankfully", we hit the edge of the "trail" and... well... These metal hardtops make one heck of a slide. again, thankfully, we slid into a tree about halfway back down, saving us from the river...
We're all ok, obviously, but the same cannot be said for the EB. It has been long since parted out and Gman now has a "new" EB and some scars to go along with the story.
Here's a few pics of the aftermath. This is whereI re-learned "Always wear your seatbelts and never wheel alone!"
i think this could win the dumb ass award for the year
so after getting the bronco2 running this winter spring to go to gulches, i wheel at gulches
and after change the stock explorer wheels back onto the bronco mostly cause they weigh a lot less than the black steelies with bfgs so makes it alot easier to drive in the city. well i was trying to change the tires in between class and work so doing it quick. two or three days later i decied i am going to drive the bronco to class does great on the way to class got all the way up to 65mph pulling a hill. so on the way home i decied i wanted to see how fast i could pull one other hill on the way home. so im driving up the hill and almost getting to 70mph when the front drivers side tires starts passing me up the hill. i slowly hit the brakes and pull off on the the shoulder of the road. so i stand and smoke a cig to calm down and check to see if i need a new pair of drawers. then go grap tire pull out hilift and put tire back on (only one stud broke if that tells you anything) drive the bronco about a mile to a peice of property that my dad owns and call dad
long story short i now check all lug nuts and give them and extra tug to make sure they are tight
86broncoII with 2in of lift 31x!2.50 SUPER SWAMPER BOGGERS steeringstableizer, skyjacker ext brakelines, and james duff prerunner front bumper
story = coming home from dinner , soon as i got to dirt road i went about 200 feet and huge deer in road , slowed to a stop and it trotted off. started down the hill and all of a sudden i am hit in the left side, knocked almost over to the pass. seat(i had lap belt on). this inturn allows me to peg the throttle. in the middle of this, i have half of a doe in my lap. she cracked 2 of my ribs , and when she got 1/2 way into the bronco reared her head up. now i think i am going to have a molar i had crowned removed.....sheesh.
moral= there is 1 drawback to door inserts.
and no i was not drinking. just ran up got a bite to eat and back home
funny thing is i walked back in the restuarant to let an officer know he had a very low tire on driver side front. he said he knew so i left. if i had not of walked back in..........
and these are the inserts i picked up at the last meet....hehe
I think my rust is rusting...
I can't remember which mistake comes next...
