Lost in my Family
#11
Bart, my condolences on the tragic death of your father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you attempt to cope with his loss over the coming days and weeks. May you and your family find peace and solace through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and his great love for each of us....

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I drove by the site where the collision happened. There was not 1 part of the other guys car that was on his side of the road, according to the paint marks still on the road. As a believer, it is good to know that he is most definitely in a better place. It happened quickly, according to people that I have talked with that were there (it is very small town up here in the sticks of NJ). He was pronounced DOA at the hospital, but sounds like he had no pulse while in the car. We are managing along. The biggest things are not having experienced anything like this and not knowing what all to do, as well as his massive piles of 'stuff.' turns out he had just gotten a skid steer, amongst a few tractors, lawn mowers, and snow blowers. He was always helping others out and tinkering, even though he was officially retired from work. He will be missed. I actually wanted him to come on the Nov. run to have some fun.
