Squeaking Belts
#1
My new belts continue to squeak at higher RPM, especially now that the colder weather is setting in. One belt is seated pretty low in the pulley and the other is riding pretty high in the pulley. I'm wondering which to swap. Which is more likely the culprit of the squeak?

are they V belts or Serp? Autotensioner or not?

They're V belts and they are not the same size (width). Replace both with new ones and tension them up. Glazed belts get squeaky and belt dressing would probably cost more than new belts. Keep the old ones for trail spares.
