Just finished up the construction on my new fish tank stand. Need a little more sanding and then the stain. Still need to add the door handles but construction wise I think I'm done. It's 6'2" wide. Tank will be 36" off the floor and the canopy will take everything to about 6' 9" in all.
I got skills. Time not so much just a little bit at a time. Skills and Harbor Freight tools. Sliding compound miter saw and a brad nailer. Table saw is a Craftsman. I like it. Came out looking really nice. Had to or my wife wouldn't let it in the (her) house. Almost afraid to stain it. Has to match the grandfather clock in the livingroom. Tank is a 150 gallon drilled reef ready aquarium. It weighs 250lb empty. Going to be a saltwater setup. Can't wait. Thanks.

That looks great Tim!! I've always wanted a salt water setup in my house! Just didn't want the hassle that goes with it. But, I guess now a days things might have changed. What kind of Fish are you getting? Any eels?
