just installed lower door gaskets and arm rest(thanks Chuzie!) Also slapped some door straps on so the doors dont fly open into the fenders. wow, what a difference...even more quiet and warmer!

wow, i just spent ten minutes making a cardboard template to use as a deflector in lisa's bronco...seemed like too much heat was being wasted in the floor boards. this thing is pumping the heat out now!! it diverts the heat down the center of the shifter tunnel and you can feel the heat in the back seat now. Ill rock it like this for a while and maybe fab something out of heavy plastic or fiberglass.
ok, now for something else... is there a way to make the outside door button work easier? I dont have a problem with it, however Lisa seems to have a hard time pressing that button in to open the door. Jeff told me it got a lil worst when he installed after market door handles outside, just curious if there is a fix for it. I know by installing the dorr gaskets today, has put a lil more pressure on it..which aint helping now. thanks

Try taking the door apart and cleaning all the build up crud on the door latches and re-greasing them. Worked great on mine. The doors will get better once the seals get broken in as well.

Thats Awsome! Congratulations Lisa! Looks like it's a great ride. Give me some time to dig threw those milk crates I have Chuck, I may be able to give you that speedo back.
Try soaking those latches in some acitone and then re lubricating them. I have had a few that needed that. Cant wait too see it in person.

Man! we sure do love this bronco!!! Lisa and Emily had it all day yesterday with NO problems...I drove it to work today, took it out for lunch with Lisa...and its just loving every minute of it !!! Cant wait to get this thing in some better shape. hoping to get the doors really lined up soon. the driver side sticks out almost 3/4" toward the backside...like to get it flush.
