Little update on the truck. F350 crewcab, single rear, shortbed, 4x4 with 4" lift on 35" ATs. 4" exhaust, 6 position chip. It came by to visit me tonight. MY TRUCK SOUNDS FREAKING AWESOME!!!! Got it back together and going to drive it a couple days and make sure all the bugs are worked out. Had to get a new fuel pump and the right front hub was wasted. Looking forward to getting it back in the driveway now. Next event should have it ahead of the Bronco on the trailer. Glad to see that my mechanical skills are good. I repaired everything damaged by the failed injector. Now the blown up donor motor will get fixed and sold. That should more than pay off my credit card and the mechanics bill for trading them out.
Sorry. I'm only a little excited.

Cool. What year is your truck? Curious to see what motor is in it (guessing a 6.0).

It's a '99 with a 7.3L. It has an '07 front end and Lariat leather interior. It now needs the fog/driving lights replaced (missing) and the power mirrors replaced (non power).

sounds like a very nice truck. love the updated front end and interior idea. mine is a 99 PSD as well. main complaint i have is the supercab and the rear seat on the 99 is really lousy compared to the other years.

It's on the road but not at my house tonight. Batteries this morning. Cold night last night took its toll on weak batteries. Replaced them this afternoon and it cranked right up. We talked for 30 minutes with it running and it never missed a lick. Very smooth. Should have it back tomorrow if everything looks good to him. He said it would be turn-key and would be perfect. Looks good so far.

Back at home. Runs great, idles very smoothly. Had one hiccup coming into the driveway and it stalled. Restarted immediatly. Called the mechanic and said it's probably water in the year old fuel. Will drain the fuel bowl and try again. I washed it. Dark and 48* outside and I washed it. Shines in the dark, though.

SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT!!! After all this time it must be a huge relief to have you rig back in action. I just hope it came with an unconditional warranty this time.
