Calling all geeks

I have a legitimate need to image some drives... not pirating anything, seriously (except my own software)l... I'm just lazy. I have to deploy a bunch of PCs with exactly the same image (xp pro and a bunch of software already setup). I also don't want to rip out the HDs and mount them each in my PC to restore the image every darn time either.

We all have the imaging software that can store the image on a network drive, but anyone know of one that will backup a networked drive/volume? I realize that it may or may not (hopefully it does) backup.restore the MBR, but there HAS to be sumthin out there.

Hell, if I have to install Ubuntu on my "spare" PC just to handle the imaging process, I'm perfectly cool with that!

Thanks!

LOL... let's see how my translator is working...

I have a PC (let's call it a Dana60), that is perfectly setup the way I want all my other PCs (axles) setup. There is software out there that can save its setup for future use. Then apply this setup to another PC (axle) and have this 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc axle be EXACTLY the same as the 1st. So, if I were to have a bunch of blank Dana60s that I want setup, I could press a button and have the gears, lockers, bearings, and all mods applied with not much work on my end.

Unfortunately, the software I have, requires me to install the axle into my bronco, hit the "apply" button, then uninstall it and put it in the bronco that it belongs in. I have about 50 Broncos to setup... and want the software that allow me to install the axles remotely.

Clear as mud, right?!
