We originally had plans to go to the Gulches but Skip made a last minute decision to close the park. Chuck made a phone call to a buddy and he invited us to come up to his property for some wheeling in the snow. We had a blast. FBG did not dissappoint, despite snow and ice covered rocks and slick red mud. It was my first time crawlin' and Chuck's first time wheelin' in the snow. We made a few sucessful runs and got "the nod" on a couple others. FBG suffered a couple new scars. We tagged a tree and the tire got into the fender after a bumpstop blew out on the front sway bar. we also rolled a tire that seperated a beadlock and immediately went flat. That was a quick fix by just puming it back up. The powersteering was leaking and was alomost nonexistent by the end of the day, and the engine was puffing white smoke on some of the steeper climbs. To top off the trip we started to feel a vibration when we were coming off the highway in Charlestion. We pulled into a parking lot, made a turn and the back tire of the trailer fell off and rolled into a car. All in a day of wheelin I guess. I can't wait to go again. Here are some pictures I took.

You're the only one I know that will get out of thier rig and take pics. I need to try to remember to do this more often. Last trip to URE I took only 1 single picture the entire weekend. I used to get a couple of hundred pics a day when out wheeling. Thanks for sharing. Nick

Looks like you had a good time. I hope the white smoke is not water!! Who got all that snow? We got about 4" here in Charlotte. It is all gone, except for in some shaded areas.
Just checked the thread title and now feel like an idiot. How much snow did they get down that way? That is not very far from here.

that white smoke is still the question?? the smokes only comes when im pointing the rig up and working it for bout 5 mins kinda hard. the motor is running awesome, but the smoke is awful, had to back off a couple trails because the smoke made it hard to see. i hope no damage has been done
