if you part her, let me know, she could be resurected in Sick Pony... I could even pay a little hommage witha FBG sticker on the fender!

I've always like that look too Chuck. Jessica wants a bone stock '66 half cab, factory red paint with the rusted edges. I would make it a sleeper for sure. The lowered look is unique. I don't know about parting/selling FBG, but if you're done with it then it's time to move on to the next project.

It will only be cool if it has a really rough idle!!!

if this comes to light...it will be a built, cam'd up mustang hiding in a half cab. maybe even some AC,tilt,PW to boot. I just cant get the idea of it outa my head. Ive had a blast with FBG and taking here to all kinds of extremes and modifications...however, this dove-tail has put a damper on things. if it wasnt DT'd...then i would consider using the body.

now i think i have a body/frame no one's gonna much care for. the cage and bumpers are built for that body and cant be used on any stock EB. The frame is great, but the front body mounts were modified for the front dove tail.

taking offers for FBG lol?????

personally, if i was looking for a crawler...your frame with dovetailed body and cage to fit would be cool for someone like myself with not as much fab skills.

maybe throw out a feeler on here and CB.com and see if you get any bites for the full rig or based on parts. you got a number in your head yet of what you'd have to get out of it to make it worth your while?

Ford already did that, I believe they called it a Mustang?
Never have liked the lowered truck, SUV, bronco etc.
Just like I dont like a lifted car, just doesnt look right to me.

just saw this post.. i guess that this means 6k would get the tow rig, camper, trailer, and bronco all at once. i'll even throw in a nice frame and body for you to start on Smile

i personally think that a lowered EB is the only way to roll with uncut fenders. I love the idea. at least you won't break any front axle shafts!!!

DON'T part your rig beyond what can be salvaged to be used again. i'd hate to see a good one put down.

Just throwing this out there, a little more food for thought.

What about getting a chassis for one of the Cobra replica kits. They are already engineered with good suspensions and frames. They are setup to drop in Ford engines and trannies. Get it without the cobra body and get a glass Bronco body instead. Get the look you want, the performance you need without destroying an original.
