Bronco Biff Wrote:Not getting rid of them, will swap them back out when wheeling heavy stuff. And yes, got a cottage in Corova the weekend of the cleanup. Ya coming??

I'm planing on staying at my families house that weekend if it goes to plan. It's not to far away 😉

Care full. Talking smack before a run could end up with you needing to borrow a drive shaft or axle shaft!!

Here is the link to the Nov run. You would think the club would have a website or something.

Not sure how the water got there but the trans output was seized to the input on the t-case. Was not fun getting them separated. There was a healthy buildup of rust on the shift rails and some of the guts in the trans. The grease in both axles looked ok but old. I had to replace the front wheel bearings when I got it. That would explain why. Going to do a new clutch and flywheel to eliminate the bucking bronco syndrome too.
As bulletproof as the 435 is, I would have got the shift rails lubed, changed the fluid, and put some miles on it. Maybe throw a tube of grease in for good measure.

But your rigs are nicer than my trail beaters.

You should have plenty of spare parts for me Matt seeing as you actually gotta wheel to break stuff!!!

I hope to have better control of my schedule by November.

Trans is all cleaned up and parts are here. Ordered via eBay and they shipped all the way from Atando Ave, a whole 15 miles away...
