but the i must be missing something cause I cant find anyplace on the website to sign up for full membership

Just go to the UserCP tab on the top of the page and then click on "paid subscriptions" on the edge of the page. follow the directions and you should be all set after the money is sent and the moderators change your settings you will become a "full member" with a bunch of addition stuff and rights.

I will be going to Goodyear to have them do an alignment and tune my carb but the guy who gave the quote no longer works there. The guy was gonna do the tuning for little next to nothing but since I didn't have a written quote they are wanting to charge me more for the tuning. Is your guy a local backyard mechanic or works for a shop?
