I found the spindle via car-part.com. This time a yard in Nebraska is sending the part via Fedex. Cost me about $55 shipped. I hope it is in good shape. Beats $150+ for aftermarket stuff.

Installed a lever lock for rear brakes. Made custom length lines and beautiful double flares.
Didn't work.
Come to find out I have the input and output ports on the lock swapped. It wasn't labeled and I assumed it didn't matter; no such luck. Now back to parts store for another length of brake line.
Grrrrrrrr.

Spindle sounds like it was a good price.
Did you buy a new MIG gun to replace the 'emergency repair' yet???
Got some work done on the 74. Have half a page of stuff to do to it. First up is wheel/spindle bearings, but I won't get creative points like chuzie did on his. Getting it ready for the fall cruise up in WNC on Sept 20. Anyone here planning to go?
Auto ignition of 572*F and flash point of 176*F. Combine that with the small quantities and likelihood of an ignition source. I am pretty confident it is not a factor.
Remind me you told me so when I am in the ICU.
Fwiw- I'm running all steel and grommets at fire wall.
