Figured out that I had used the wrong scale on the New Harmonic Balancer when I set the timing and reset it today. Much,Much better now.
what have you wrenched on your bronco(s) today?

Put a grey permanent marker to it so that never happens again. Always easy to see with the gun

I like to use a yellow paint marker. Reading the marks on the balancer is about impossible on some of them.
No wrenching for me today. Just a lot of cutting, grinding, and welding. Let's just say the sandblasted tub was showing its age.

I had marked the scale at 10 degrees with a silver sharpee but this new Pro Street Balancer has 3 totally different scales for different years of motors on it and I had somehow used the incorrect scale so I was running with about 25 degrees of timing instead of 10 degrees.

Don't you just love universal parts?

It needs to be in my garage!
- What kind of response were you expecting? Edit- went to their website. Prices start at $169k. Maybe it doesn't need to be in my garage...

Its Unique but I wonder how well it would tow the real fun Bronco.
