Mill Knob Wrote:Looks like a pretty good turn out. I hate that Me and Berg mist it. Robert "Big Country" looks good. That is a big surprise! Did you drive it or trailor it? Great Pic. Robert did you put that bad boy on the RT Ramp? George - I trailered it up. It was the first heavy tow for my new '99 F350 and it pulled it like nothing was behind it. It was a race to get it together enough to drive on/off the trailer and there are still a lot of loose ends to take care of. It was loud too - just headers and no exhaust yet. I did not put it on the ramp just because I've got some bugs to work out on the rear 4 link. Plus I don't even have the front shaft in and it's open in the back so I would have started spinning as soon as it hit the ramp.

Hi Everyone,, had great time yesterday,,that wind was interesting though. It was nice to see and meet everyone and hang out with other broncos and I even got lucky several times in the raffle. Thanks to all the sponsors (Dennis Carpenter for the car collection too) and Matt, liz, Chuck for putting this on. Sorry for holding up the raffle you can tell I don't get out much :-). Lots of nice broncos there and and enjoyed the conversation and bronco talk. You don't get this kinda interaction anywhere else. Again had a great time and thanks

Thanks for all of the compliments on the orange BIG COUNTRY! I was stoked to be able to bring it and the past week was a rush to get it able to roll on the trailer under its own power. I wish Keith (744x4) could have been there with it as he was more than half of the labor getting it to where it is.
This was my fifth year at the event. Does anybody remember the first year ... about 100* and no shade. I left the event last year with inspiration to get back to work on the crawler and I'm glad I did. Next year it'll have exhaust, gears, lockers, and hopefully a few battle scars with stories. Good to see everyone there. I met some new faces and saw others that I only see a couple times a year.
