Are you planning on running the tubular a-arms without the strut arm or the stamped mustang a's? You said you had the fatman crossmember kit, including the apring buckets?.... coils or coil overs? Front or rear steer?

well, its all tubular upper/lower arms,strange coil-overs,rack n pinion. tubular arm eliminate the need for strut arms. and stamp steel stock arm would have to mount inside the cross member...tubular mount on the outside of crossmember.

of coarse its all a dream now...the only way this is gonna happen...if someone gets in a bad money jam, and has a new kit they are selling for chump change. other wise, another yr away for me.



hell, it could get worst, might sell off the the whole 72 halfcab body and all...but it wont be cheap.and it would have to be worth it for me to even consider getting rid of it. hell the crossmember was $500 and now thats sitting and useless

I did a Fatman's Mustang II kit on the front of my '32 originally with the stock coils, a-arms and struts which I still have. I changed to tubular, flipped my knuckles and did a rear steer with a chevy citation power rack, gm calipers, and granada rotors......in '94/'95. I've got some pieces parts laying around......somewhere! Drove it down to Fatman's shop about 6 times over the years for Goodguys in October.

got a PM from a fellow slammed bronco guy on classic...


he has to take a different route with his front end. so he told me he would cut me one heck of a deal for his complete kit! he said $400( it has universal cross member,tubular arms,spindles,rotors,calipers, rack n pinion)

he has the chevy small 5 lug rotors...guess i have to change those. also he only has mustang II coils and shocks...not coil-overs. but at this price its hard to say no. that saves me $1000 vs. buying new kit for $1500!

of coarse this is just what it would take to make a driver, i would much rather use my narrowed 9" and a 4-bar system w/coil-overs too

Trust me, put it in moth balls and sit on it. Its way to hard to start all over again once you get rid of something. Do what you can for now and wait for the rest. Who know when something might change.
