Cool. Sounds killer. Now you just need to hit the powerball! I'm sure those parts don't come cheap

Not at all, hoping to score some chassis parts used...otherwise front and rear will cost $2000 or just over. Wish I still had my explorer rear and bullit wheels

Got a tub in the rear of your shed too! May need some work but chuck is great at that.

Thx for the box and Crab! It was good seeing you yesterday before the bottom fell out!

That looks great and will make you glad once its complete, but a little blasphemous for an eb isn't it?

Why dont we just put it in my bronco until you can afford all of the parts, that way it wont get all dusty from sitting in the garage.

In april i tactfully reminded you a safari top would do nothing to get you through the rocks but a good locker sure would . After the april ure run as you watched us go up Daniel , you agreed.

Here we are bro. Just after nov run where you watched again. You have a dream to build a slammed bronco. I get it. That shit is cool as hell but i can't stand to see you start another project without getting the other one to a more complete stage.

You love the rocks. You have just lost the edge cuz u can't play and it's no fun.

The slammed bronco will not get your 77 through the rocks plain and simple.

I know, you are going to say your rig goes just fine at ure and we have nothing else challenging enough for your rig. I think that is a b.s. excuse. Why not be prepared for tellico or river rock to reopen. What about hell week?

Just think about it bro. How long will it really take to save up enough cash for lockers and tires? Can the slammed bronco not wait a few more months?

Just do me one favor. Hop on the computer and look through your old photos and videos and remember how much f'ing fun you have had on the rocks!

I will be there to help you wrench on this project and i will never say another word about this again. Just had to get it out there.

Nothing but love for ya ninja but PULL YOUR HEAD OUT YO A$$

i hear ya mike, and you bring up some good points...i wish i had a rig more capable. but to be honest, my rig is doing the job-is it perfect...no. can i make it better-yes. if i had the drive to make it badass i would...but i dont have that drive right now. as it is, we are using our rigs twice a year....march meet/ nov run. so mine is doing daily driver duty...which its does just fine. with fat bottom girl...i had a vision, a end goal. where is it now? Gone, and no ones fault but my own. All i can see right now, is doing rock sliders and painting the bronco...beyond that-i have no idea. I know right now, all i want is the slammed eb...been wanting that for years. am i any closer now than i was before-no. as for telico and river rock...all i can say is, we'll see what happens. the slammed eb wont take shape for many months...im losing a month and a half with my dang knee.

all i have is a frame, crossmember, and a motor...im far from a rolling chassis or even a bronco body. be thankful i didnt put the 77 up for sale...because it crossed my mind. thats how far i want to take this hotrod. i expect the hotrod to begin taking shape in 6 months. between now and then, i will try to to do those 2 things i mentioned earlier...sliders/paint. then the 77 is on cruise control.

You've got my vote Bro! I'm looking forward to helping you bring this dream to a reality anyway I can. I cant wait to see the slammed EB!

As far as the '77 goes the sliders and paint will be a great addition, but I also agree with Chuzie that a good locker would definitley boost your fun level at our events, even if it is only used twice a year. Do what ya got to do homie. I'll leave Chuzie to the chit talking and the beratement for not doing what he wants you to do. Which deep down you know you want also, a more capeable rig, but I understand there's only enough time and money for one project, and the '77 is "doing the job" it needs to now. Good luck with all your choices.

I'm with doug. We all have dreams and goals with these kinds of hobbies, and sometimes one goal comes at the cost of another. my bike slowed down progress on the bronco, I wanna build a fairlane too... Right now im on a bronco improvement kick, but it sounds like you are on a second bronco kick. I can dig it, and I think this hotrod Bronco is gonna be awesome. do what ya like, like what ya do...

I still woulda done a ford motor though... Wink
