looking for some 5.0 advice

just got a call...friend is offering up a trickflow stage 1 cam...



pretty cheap, could i install this and run it without any issues from the computer? I also have a explorer GT40 intake I was looking at installing too.

I dont wont any run-ability issues with a cam swap...so i need some of your advice please
77 built 306,Trickflow Cam/Alum Heads/dome pistons/10:1comp,nv3550,duff long arms,3.5" lift,family cage,protofab rear bumper,twin sticked, and 35KM2'sG.D.I.

The best thing to do is compare the cam lift and duration. I'm sure you can pull that info right off Summit racings web site. If the lift and duration is just a bit taller that I would go ahead and put it in. The ecm will adjust itself and the intake and upper pleanum should be closely matched to that cam.

I am with Matt. Just be sure to have your die grinder ready to cut out a section of grille when you install the cam Big Grin
